What Is Soldering?
Solder is typically a leaded or tin alloy that joins components (like wires or capacitors to a PCD Board). For example, a typical soldering repair is connecting two wires back together after being cut or replacing a resistor or capacitor in any electronic device.
We offer a wide range of soldering and micro-soldering services at Mainly Techs. If you have any questions about soldering, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our repair professionals.
What Is Micro Soldering?
The term “micro-soldering” refers to soldering done at the microscopic level. Daily, we repair boards with electrical shorts, broken HDMI ports & charger ports, PCB trace repairs, etc. These repairs involve tiny components such as those found in cell phones, laptops (especially MacBooks), or video game consoles. To see components and compete for the repair, we use a 41 megapixel with a 300x optical zoom microscope with our soldering and reflow station to complete these repairs for our customers.
